For parents suspecting that their child may have a learning disability, we provide a comprehensive evaluation designed to answer parent concerns and guide treatments at home and at school. Providing Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for special education services is often the most appropriate step for schools to take when children have been found to have learning disabilities, so all evaluations are structured to be easily applied within Florida school districts. Our SLD evaluations include recommendations for the most appropriate level of intervention within the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

Our SLD / Academic Problems Psychoeducational Evaluations Consist Of:

• a full IQ test to explore your child’s intellectual ability
• assessments of cognitive processing (i.e., short and long-term memory, processing speed, etc.)
• academic testing in reading, math, and writing
• social / developmental history
• a full psychoeducational report complete with specific recommendations for school placement, services, and MTSS interventions
