For parents suspecting that their child may have ADHD, we provide a comprehensive evaluation designed to answer parent concerns and guide treatments at home and at school. Often children found to have ADHD can qualify for a section 504 plan to provide helpful accommodations at school, so all evaluations are structured to be easily applied within Florida school districts.

Signs that Your Child May Have Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD):
Problems with Inattention
- Is a “day dreamer”
- Doesn’t pay attention to details
- Misplaces homework, books, and other learning materials
- Makes careless mistakes
- Has trouble staying focussed
- Appears to not be listening when spoken to
- Has difficulty remembering things
- Has trouble staying organized
Problems with Hyperactivity / Impulsivity
- Fidgets and squirms
- Moves constantly
- Is always “on the go”
- Talks excessively
- Has difficulty playing quietly
- Tends to say the wrong thing at the wrong time
- Often guesses rather than taking his / her time
- Leaves his / her seat when sitting is expected
- Has a quick temper
